The Rookery was the original idea of Jim Allen.  However, due to other commitments he was unable to maintain the resource.  Jim gave us permission to take over the Rookery and we have incorporated it into our Penguin pages as the "links" section.

There are far too many sites related to penguins to allow us to have a complete set of links - if you make a search for pages referring to penguins you will find many thousand of them on the Internet.  We have carefully selected only those sites we have used ourselves and which contain information which we think is useful and interesting.

As there are so many penguin sites we have divided them  into five categories:
