There are many colonies around the island. Lusitania Bay boasts around 250,000 pairs
of King Penguins and Sandy Bay has a good sized and accessible Royal colony (providing you
have permission to land). |
You can only get to Macquarie Island by ship. There are few ships that visit the
Island, the Klebnikov visits once a year as does the Bremen. Most of the trips are on the
