Number of Birds  About 20 birds.  The Fiordland penguins are birds that have washed up on Australian beaches and cannot be returned to the wild in New Zealand for fear that they could introduce diseases into the wild population.
Description of Exhibit  A fairly basic design with a fair size pool and a gravel surround with a small grassy area above
How to get there  Taronga is just across the harbour from Sydney. The ferry takes you right to the zoo.
